MH Postal Scale Manuals |
Cherlyn
has been designing and manufacturing MH Series Postal Scales since
1982,
previously as an
OEM supplier to Ascom (formerly Ascom-Hasler or Hasler GB) and
Mailtronic. Many
of these older units are still in daily use, which is a testament to
both the
quality of the scales and ongoing support from Cherlyn.
Pricing in Proportion: We are pleased to confirm that PiP is supported for ALL Cherlyn MH Series Postal Scales, including those no longer in production. We believe we are the only scale manufacturer in the UK that is able to implement PiP on ALL models. For more information on PiP you can look at our information pages here. You can see an up-to-date Operating Manual & Service Selection Guide for all of the OLDER MH Series Postal Scales (including latest PiP updates) by clicking on the Model Number below:
Changes to Services: There have been many changes over the years. For example, in the 1980's the world was divided into Airmail Zones A, B and C, which are now re-arranged into Zones 1 and 2. More recently, Special Delivery became a separate service with 9 am and 12 noon delivery options. Registered has disappeared and so has Swiftair, and we now have new Signed-For, Airsure and Compensation options. Overlay Stickers: As a result of earlier changes, use of some Service Keys has changed on older models. Overlay Stickers for new Airsure and Signed-For options were sent out with with updated Rate Chips, but if you need replacements we can still supply them FOC. Click here to send an email request, giving your name and delivery address, together with the Model and Serial Number of the Scale (these can be found on the back of the Scale). Country Codes: For all Models incorporating Country Code selection for International Parcelforce destinations, i.e. all Models except those listed in the left hand column above, you will also need the latest Country Code list. You can download this as an Adobe Acrobat pdf file. © Cherlyn Electronics Limited, 2011 |
